Dr. Etty Stav holds a Ph.D. in Middle Eastern studies from Bar-Ilan University. Her studies focused primarily on the motives, strategies, and development of the Palestinian leadership over the years. Her book The Palestinian Narrative Through Caricatures is based on her doctorate dissertation and draws on many years of extensive research.

Today, Dr. Stav works for the Ministry of Education, where she coordinates the thesis program for high school students. Her job includes supervising, advising, and promoting innovation and technology in academic work.
