Jean-Pierre Lévy

Jean-Pierre Lévy (1934) was born in Paris and fled with his family to Algiers in 1940, where he lived with his family until 1962. After serving three years as the chief officer of the SAS in Kabylie, Lévy went on to become a director at the prestigious Galerie Lafayette group, before enrolling at Harvard Business school and obtaining a master’s degree in Consumer Marketing Strategy.

Jean-Pierre Lévy is a director of the France-Israel Chamber of Commerce and a member of the French Steering Committee for Yad Vashem. He is also an officer in the National Order of the Legion of Honor, and commander of the National Order of Merit – the second national Order of France.
